The Final Breath

"JOY!" Kaleb yelled. The gun fired again. "Joy!" Then, it fired for the last time. "Kale...Ugh..." Joy said as she collapsed to the floor. She and Kaleb had met the same horrible fate as Jordyn.

The police never found them. The kidnappers went mad with guilt and killed themselves, except for one. He still kidnaps children to this day. A sad fate for great people.

The Master Murderer

"Wake up, Joy." Kaleb whispered as he shook her awake. "What happened?" Joy said a little loudly. "Shh! Don't speak so loud. I learned that the hard way..." Kaleb said as he pointed to a deep gash on his right arm. "Where's Jordyn?" Joy asked, worried. "She met her fate." A man said. "Here's your friend." He threw Jordyn's corpse to them. "No, Jordyn! Damn you! Why Jordyn?" Joy sobbed. "You're about to meet your fate!" She screamed as she ran at the man, breaking the chain connecting her to the wall. He pulled out a gun and shot her leg, causing her to fall. "JOY!" Kaleb screamed.

Chapter 3: Kaleb

"Kaleb!" Joy yelled out to the small, scrawny twenty-one year old with purple eyes and red hair. "Sis! I didn't expect to see you so soon. Mom and dad didn't tell me you would be coming." Kaleb said with slight confusion and suspicion. He knew that Joy's powers still had some problems. Joy would have problems with her powers until age twenty-three. "I accidentally killed mom and dad..." Joy said as her expression changed from tired to sad. "I knew this would happen one day. Who knows?" Kaleb said. "NYPD. I think they might have told the FDES." "FDES?" "Federal Danger Elimination Squad" "Oh. Who is this?" Kaleb asked., gestering to Jordyn. "My best friend, and one of the only ones who know about my powers. We need somewhere to stay. Can we stay here?" Joy asked hopefully. "I don't..." Kaleb started before they were all knocked out, tied up with super rope (super durable rope that can withstand temperatures up to 500°F and -200°F), and dragged out the door.

Chapter 2: Unleash the fury!

"Jordyn, scoot back to back with me." Joy whispered to Jordyn. She moved over to Joy and put her handcuffs behind Joy's. Joy froze her and Jordyn's handcuffs and smashed their handcuffs together, shattering them. "Hey, what are you two doing?!?" A police officer opened the door. Jordyn's parents were right behind them. "NOW!!" Joy yelled. She shot out a blast of ice , blocking the door. Joy and Jordyn jumped out the window. They ran. And ran. They ran to the place Joy has always felt safe; her brother's house.

     Jordyn was Joy's best friend. She was a 16 year-old brunette with brown eyes and pink nails with white polka-dots. Joy, on the other hand, was a 17 year-old blond with piercing blue eyes that turn various colors with her mood. She didn't paint her nails. Ever. 

     "Hello there, beautiful." Joy said, trying to make her voice sound like a man's, but her voice sounded like a teenager speaking through a hole in their throat.* "Haaaaaayyyyyyy girllllllllllllllllll! What is it now? Killed your brother? Find your sister?" Jordyn said, painting her nails a light shade of blue. Joy replied, "We don't EVER speak of The-She-Devil! Oh, and actually..." Lowering her voice to a whisper, she said "My anger went too far... I killed my parents." She now had tears rolling down her cheek. "Your powers?!?!? Why? Actually, that doesn't matter. We need to hide you. Hmm... I know! You can stay with me! You can sleep under my bed, I can feed you leftovers from meals, and-" Jordyn said before they heard one bang, two bangs, 3 bangs before they saw the police bang down the door. "EVERYONE DOWN! GET ON THE GROUND!" said one police officer. The other police officer handcuffed Jordyn and Joy. "We are going to go talk to your parents. Stay here." This time the police officer sounded calm. The police officers left the room. "What do we do now? My parents will kill me before the police get to me!" Jordyn whispered quite loudly. "Don't worry. I've got an idea..." Joy replied.
